It was an emotional weekend here at the Red Bull Air Race in Las Vegas. The last race of the year had it’s ups and downs. We had a solid Qualifying run on Saturday, setting us up to fly against Hannes Arch on Sunday. On Sunday we flew well in the Round of 14 allowing us to advance to the Round of 8. Our final flight for the 2015 season was against Yoshi Muroya. Yoshi posted one of the fastest times of the week and we didn’t have quite enough speed to match him. So our day ended in the Round of 8 while trying to reach the Final 4. We managed a respectable 6th place. Congrats to Team Bonhomme for winning his 3rd World Title. On Sunday, Peter Besenyei announced his retirement in the sport – with a farewell in his hangar from all of the teams wishing him well. Without Peter, this sport would have never come to be – he will be missed.
