Team 99’s been in Barcelona since Monday preparing for the last Red Bull Air Race of the 2009 season. We’ve already completed calibration flights and flights over the track. The aircraft is running super smooth. We flew over the track and it looks like its going to be the most challenging track of the season with lots of tight turns. The race track’s high G turns and ocean location make this race more difficult than any other. Factors such as wind and swaying air gates rocked by the ocean current will come into play. Tomorrow is the first official practice day and we look forward to getting started.
